So … there are spoilers on the previous volumes!
With the death of Mona the reader little warned could think that our liars were out of business … What nenni !! A new A replaces the old while the lives of the girls knows new twists … far removed from the series.
Hanna is now living with her father, Isabel and the plague of Kate … Her boyfriend is Lucas (yes yes, the looser of the series, exit Caleb which does not exist) and it is difficult to recover from the Betrayal of Mona (yes, in books, girls are ALWAYS not close). She must face the formidable Kate … I liked this tome that gave a little depth to Hanna
Emily: is no longer with Maya and we still feel her affection for Ali … Except that Emily is looking for otherwise it does not happen to him much exciting, like hab
Aria: finally reconciled with her mother while Meredith, the new darling of his dad is pregnant! She will also make a very very disturbing encounter (and that I liked)
Spencer: always maintains delicate relationships with his sister. She is still at the center of the story with a big revelation that has nothing to do with the series ^^ Here idem, exit Toby who died for a long time … but she is not alone for all that!
On the background the story is always exciting and we follow with pleasure the adventures of the girls especially since the split with the series is well consumed! The end is excellent (even if it resembles that of the series) and sends us again on false tracks!
The more: always conspiracies and difficult situations for our 4 liars, the problems much more deep and deep than in the series. Hanna’s character begins to become a little more interesting.
The least: always the omnipresence of brands (I feel like reading a magazine interspersed with ads), the character of Emily who does not convince me
In short: Fun and fun! I adhere to 100% and I am particularly in a hurry to know the continuation for Aria …
