The Long War is the worthy successor of The Long Earth: also good. The action takes place years after the end of the first volume and launches into the emerging conflict between the different versions of the Earth, the Datum Earth not being very fond of the will of independence of its “little sisters”.
The scenario is good the characters also, we get some answers but especially tons of questions in anticipation of the sequel, as bonus it is quite simple to read.
In short if you liked the 1st tome: run and if you do not know it is really worth the shot.
