The Long Earth series is packed with great ideas and possibilities that give the spin. It seems, however, sometimes a little diluted, and the style is not always as percussive as what Pratchett has accustomed us. However, it should be borne in mind that these are his latest contributions, and this is still excellent SF, original, pleasant to read and engaging.
