Reviews
BREATHTAKING! This novel is a pure diamond. I remain speechless so it was strong, confusing, disarming, moving and exciting. The lines marched, carrying me in a whirlwind of contradictory feelings, too overwhelming and on the verge of incomprehension. Colleen Hoover’s pen is simply brilliant. This 2nd volume is not a repetition of Holder’s point of view but a plus. He gives us his disarray, his discomfort and his guilt of not having been able to save Hope 13 years before and his sister from a suicide. It’s poignant and raging. It is full of life and questioning. This is misunderstanding and confusion. It is an extraordinary novel that made me weep for all the things that happened to these girls, which made me bewildered by perverted acts. Holder is simply sublime: by his reflection and his beautiful soul. Thank you Colleen Hoover for this wonderful moment shared with characters just too engaging. I can not wait to read it again.
