Review
According to my point of view, this is the second time that a novel brings a solid background to a character that is scarcely or barely touched in the game (I think of course to Haytham Kenway and the book Forsaken, sorry Unity, but this one will remain my favorite <3). Well, it’s the same. To be honest, I was afraid of “getting bored” to read Unity from Elise’s point of view (having seen the entire Unity gaming movie the day before, its passages were rather short and sometimes bland, and I Did not see much interest in it, but what was she going to tell us?). Do not deceive yourself, Elise in much more in the belly than we show it in the game, and it is not cold in the eyes. Note also that the story is interspersed with passages from the newspaper of Arno. His story is exciting (I have not let go of the book, which I read in one afternoon!) And his relationship with Arno more than touching. I absolutely recommend reading it if you want to explore the background of the characters in detail (to be satisfied with the cinematics of the games is in my opinion a mistake).
