Reviews
We will meet Theodore Finch, a teenager who is nicknamed the FĂȘlĂ© by the other students and Violet Markey, a popular girl. Both are in terminal. They will meet one morning on the top of the bell tower of their high school facing the void because both want to end life. But during a project for the only course they have in common, Finch and Violet will meet in pairs and as time goes by, they will get to know each other, to appreciate and to love each other . And both will learn the past of the other and in a way they will help each other to face life.
The pen of the author is very beautiful and very engaging. One is absorbed by the story of these two teenagers who have a hard past and who both want to die. There is also a love story between Finch and Violet.
The end of the novel is just overwhelming and poignant. I felt all back after closing this book.
This novel is very addictive. It upsets us and makes us think. We go through many emotions in this story: joy, sadness, friendship, fear, doubt …. This novel is a lesson in life.
This book is a small nugget that should be read by many people. It’s a wonderful story. I really loved this novel and I recommend it to anyone who loves romance novels with a beautiful love story and a just overwhelming ending.
